Sportv Olympics 2016

Brazilian paid TV broadcaster SporTV - Globo Group subsidiary - built a multi-platform strategy to deliver 56 video channels, being 40 of that exclusive for the website and app to cover the Summer Olympic Game.

There was a concept prototype to demonstrate the desired visual and interactive web experience. I received this concept and worked to make it tangible respecting the legacy systems technical restriction and recovering user behavior information throughout big data (mainly Google Analytics and DAX).

In order to make it clear to the development team how this new design would work, I documented it thought wireframe, flows and user scenarios. Also, I worked along with the development team to verify and test the solution before releasing.

Furthermore, I played a key role helping to prioritize the experience key points, based on collected data about user behavior and merging it with business needs.

 

Outputs

As result, the new Sportv Play site had been released on time, supporting Sportv to make the biggest Brazilian coverage of the Summer Olympic Games with more than 4.000 hours of transmissions being 1.700 hours of live events.
